Halloween

As promised, here is a picture of my husband's handy work...

Ol' Jack seems to have an eye issue. I tried to go back to the archives for a comparison. Turns out that I never posted a picture of my husband's Jack 'O Lantern before this year. He was a little more creative than previous years, but the theme is pretty much the same.

Here's my contribution. Roasted seeds with sea salt and Trader Joe's Everyday Seasoning. Recipe: Clean the seeds off and dry them. Spread them on a cookie sheet. Spray them with canola oil cooking spray. Sprinkle sea salt and any seasoning that you like. Cook in 300 degree oven for about 45 min. to an hour.
Cool and munch.

Today is a day off for me, so the morning schedule is a little different. Before I could make the bed, the Knucklehead Sisters jumped under the covers for a nap. As I lifted the quilt, it occurred to me that they looked a little scary...

Maybe?? Just a little?....
Ok then, how about a couple pictures from the graveyard in Lewes, DE.

Or maybe this open window in an old building in Baltimore?..
See which one I mean? This building was abandoned and mostly boarded up. Yet, a white curtain still blew slowly in the breeze in the top window...Who was living up there? Or were they living at all?....

Happy Halloween to you all, readers!

Love the scary sisters, lol. Although they're more cute than scary. :)

The graveyard and spooky curtain are scary. The sisters are not. haha! They are cute as buttons as always. I like the pumpkin carving. It's much better than I could do. Happy Halloween to you! :)

YUM! I LOVE freshly made pumpkin seeds. It's the only reason I get a pumpkin, to be honest. lol

First the creepy barn. Now these creepy pix. You seem to be finding your niche...? (I miss CHIPPY!) Tell the hubby nice work... We save some pumpkin seeds and salt them and heat 'em in the oven too. Not too bad.

Margaret,
Your husbands pumpkin was very good. I like the evil eye. We had a nice snuggley day on Saturday during the snow. It was pretty and we didn't have to shovel. That's my kind of snow!
Your scary pictures were very good. I've always wanted to take pix at a graveyard. They're very "Moody".
Your afghan turned out lovely.

The sisters are adorable! So cue!
