Like many around me, I have been crazy busy in preparation for Christmas. I've also managed to work on my extra bedroom/knitting room..
The green/blue theme started with the afghan I knitted this past year. I went with that color scheme. The room was already painted blue.
A dresser and baskets full of yarn. Who could ask for anything more?
A place to put my knitting books and other things.
It's a work in progress, but I love it so far.
I've also made a mess of these ornaments for my knitting pals.
Hope the holidays are keeping you all happy and not under too much stress.
Here's a little stress reliever..
It's as tasty as the real thing! (and less calories.)
More pictures to come, after my mother-in-law opens it and we blow it up.

Your knitting room looks neat and cozy, Margaret! The fruitcake should bring about some laughs, I bet. :D
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Cute ornament. What did you use for the knitting needles?
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm...fruitcake!!! Don't forget to get a picture of you MIL's face when she opens it.
Yes Daisy. It will be more cozy when I get a comfy chair in there.
Dee- Bought cheap small glass ornaments. taped yarn to them, wound and wound, wove in end, sponged on Modge Podge. Took two wooden tooth picks, super-glued beads on the ends, and stuck in yarn. Voila!
Oh, and Merry Christmas to you both!
Margaret, How do you leave that room? It's so cozy and comfortable looking.
I think I would take a nice nap in there.
Merry Christmas and enjoy the time with family and friends.
Julie
