I'm Back.

Before life's distractions got in the way, I had promised a few more Artscape pictures..

In the park area, artists were asked to create pieces with a tent theme. Above, was one of them.
Here are two more..

This one was minimalist, but interesting.

Side show entertainment.

Side show barker with a friend.

Today was my day off. I spent most of it finishing a secret project. I had coffee, the internet and lots of yarn. It was a good day.

Oh, and lazy dogs draped over me. That helped, too.

They decided at one point to merge into one big lazy lump of dog. Double snores forced me to turn the volume up on the TV.

The project is now blocking and will be stitched up tomorrow. I will take lots of pictures and share later. I have to get it to the recipient first.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you who I had dinner with this weekend! The husband and I went out with our good friends to a popular Baltimore restaurant that's half Italian bistro/half crab house.  We wanted an Italian dinner, so I called ahead to be sure that I didn't need reservations. I was told that the restaurant side was filled, because they were having entertainment and you had to reserve your table in advance. They told me that they would seat us on the crab side, but we could order anything. That was fine with us.

We got there, and were told that the crab side was now too crowded, but that they had one open table in the restaurant, if we didn't mind entertainment. No problem....

And boy, were we ever entertained!! We had a great time, and were surprised at how much this man sounded like the original "king". A plain old dinner out turned into a fun evening.

See you next time!

There was a lot to see at that art festival!

Snuggling up with lazy dogs and the TV sounds like a good way to spend an afternoon to me.

What a fun surprise at dinner! Must have been your lucky day. :-)
