The Hat's A Hit

I took the hat to work, and the recipient liked it just as it is...big flower and all. I had left-over yarn, sooooo.......

I used it up!
It only took me 3 episodes of Big Bang Theory to finish these up.

 ******
I tried something new today. I've made fun of this before on this post.
Then I ended up caving in to the hype, and buying this..

Then I read a post on Dee's blog about the Dragon Fruit, and decided to try it. My husband went to the Asian grocery store the other day, and I asked him to pick me up one.

He brought home two.

If nothing else, it is a beautiful fruit.

Turns out that it tastes pretty good, too. Very mild, but kind of like a kiwi.
Have a great July 4th, everyone! It will be a scorcher here, so I will probably forgo the parade this year. Fireworks?  Mmmmmaybe...

Thanks! They were such a quick knit. I think I may make more. I have a niece who is pregnant, so she may get lots of these.

Haha!
I *almost* bought that same candle at YC last week. It was down to that one or the Pink Sands one and I went with the Pink Sands. :)
