I have been gone from the blogosphere for over a month. Wow. How to catch up..I have been working, had a quick bout of the stomach flu, saw my Brother and family for Thanksgiving, knit-knit-knitting away, getting used to 3 dogs and a daughter in the house, meeting up with friends(both old and new), shopping a little, cleaning up the pond and garden for winter, and apparently not blogging.
Christmas will be upon us before you know it. Tomorrow I will put up the tree. I have to really push myself this year. My daughter will be in England with the boyfriend on Christmas. We are celebrating it next weekend with her and my son, because that's really the only time we have to do so. No family is coming here for Christmas, except probably my Dad. So, really a tree seems like a lot of work. But I'll do it and I'm sure I'll enjoy it once it's up. (Can I hire someone to take it down on New Years?)
My goal tomorrow is to try and get some pictures of the three doggies in a Christmas pose by the tree. This did not work very well two years ago...
Funny to see Athena being the most calm of the three. She is usually the one jumping around, barking and trying to rip off the sweater. Here's the best one that I could find..
Clearly, there were bribes in the form of treats involved with the posing of this picture. Though Bell does look a little wistful.
I promise I'll be back tomorrow. Maybe with some knitting and non-knitting pics. Glad I'm back! Hope you guys are still around!

I'm still here. :-) I'm glad to see you back. You were missed. I love the dog pictures. It must be so amusing to have them around entertaining you all the time. Hope you are all well again after your bout with the flu. Have a good weekend! I'll probably be putting up our tree this weekend too.
Welcome back! I love your sweet doggies in their sweaters. I know your tree will be beautiful. Blessings to you and yours this Christmas season. Enjoy the weekend. Mildred
Your pups are ADORABLE! Love their little sweaters. Good luck with that picture posing. Can't wait to see the "out takes".
Glad to see you back. I know you'll enjoy the tree; it sure make the house festive. I'd like to hire the same guy to take down all my decorations too! That's the part I enjoy the least.
The dogs in their sweaters are really cute. I can't imagine trying to get THREE dogs to pose for a picture. I'm looking forward to what the "action" photographer captures.
Glad to see you back! :)
