Well, the tree is up and lit, but no ornaments have come up from the basement yet. I did put out a few lights outside. Have you ever seen those cardboard glasses that you wear to look at the lights? They have a holographic pattern printed on the lenses and it creates an image around each Christmas light. I tried this a few years back, and I did it again tonight: I put the lens in front of my camera. I have 3 pairs of glasses...
Here are reindeer, looking at red lights outside on a tree.
More outside lights with Santa glasses.
Lastly, my tree inside seen through snowman lenses.
How about some knitting? I knit a shawl for my Aunt's 90th birthday..
I started a Morning Surf pattern scarf with that beautiful ribbon yarn that I bought in Portland, Maine at Tess Yarns. The blues and greens lend very well to this wavy pattern.
No this isn't knitting. This is my niece's 7 week old baby Charlotte, who came to see me at Thanksgiving. Is she not the cutest? She was the best baby ever, and a joy to have around.
See you soon, readers! Maybe tomorrow I'll finally get some ornaments on the tree.
